Sustainable mobility, active safety systems, autonomous driving and motorsport: these are just some of the areas of study that are studied in depth at the DriSMi Polimi of Politecnico di Milano. In the fourth episode of “Meet the team: stories of talent and passion” Francesco Comolli, Head of Driving Simulator Unit, talks about what it means to work within it and help anticipate technological development trends in the automotive sector.

A PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico, Francesco now manages and coordinates the activities of the Driving Simulator, one of the large infrastructures of the University, designed to offer an immersive experience that allows to explore vehicle dynamics and advanced driving technologies. Through the use of this complex tool, Francesco and his team contribute to introduce innovation into the car market and increase road safety.
